Early Christianity
INDIANA UNIVERSITY, Bloomington, Department of Religious Studies,
invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant or
associate professor rank in Early Christianity. Ph.D. or equivalent
required. Beyond a strong research record in their area of
specialization, applicants should also demonstrate engagement with wider
issues in the study of religion. The successful application will
document ongoing research, a record of creative and effective teaching,
and an active professional profile. Teaching obligations will extend
from introductory courses in New Testament to upper-level undergraduate
courses, and graduate training at the master's and doctoral levels.
Deadline for applications: Monday, October 1, 2012. Applicants should
