Visiting Assistant Professor of Religious Studies

The Department of Religious Studies invites applications for a one-year appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor to begin fall 2013. Candidates should be competent to teach introductory courses in religious studies in a liberal arts curriculum. Candidates should have a specialty in one of the following areas: religion and society, comparative spiritualities, or religion and the arts. Instructional load will be four courses per semester. Preference will be given to candidates who will have received their Ph.D. by September 2013 and have evidence of excellence in teaching. Applications will be considered until the position is filled.
