Congratulations to Rich Newman!

I see on John Fea's blog that Richard Newman has been named the new director of the Library Company of America. Congratulations Rich!

I am a big fan of Newman's book on Richard Allen (Freedom's Prophet: Bishop Richard Allen, the AME Church, and the Black Founding Fathers), which I wrote a review of earlier on this blog. Rich was also kind enough to offer feedback on my introduction of Richard Allen in Early Evangelicalism: A Reader.
